How to view pages----
Use the URL box to type a URL and click go (Enter is not usable at this time)
To Save a URL right click the page open properties copy the URL Open FAVS click
on New URL paste URL into the text box then click enter (update coming soon for quick URL entry)
Also by selecting on menu bar File Window # 1,2,3,4 you can open 4 windows and use each window on its own.
You can also run multi browsers at one time buy clicking the GP Browser short cut or exe!

Favorites List
To open a URL from Favs click on Open Fav's then click on the text URL in the List
Box it will automatically take you there.

To Save a Fav's List click on Save List then enter the name of your Fav's
List and click Save, the file will be located where you saved it in the applications Fav folder.

To search the web we have provided the Search option located on the top File
bar click search for a directory search box to add a search engine contact freecerver@aol.com for inquiry.

You can cut and paste URLs into the URL text box on the main Window and click go and you can drag and drop links from the FAVS box to the URL box and click go.
Right Clicking!
By right clicking inside the List Box you can access other functions like Edit URL, Delet Highlighted URL's, or make a new URL.

FTP Using FTP
IP Address or web FTP service providers# or URL for Address, then a name of user or directory, then your password if any. Search and extras might not be implemented in some vrs of GP Browser. Errors onload no images only folder or file names shown..

Mail Box
Select a web user Mail Box like Hotmail.com, AOL.com, etc. By using a web page instead of our server you can be assured we wont look ;) select your usual address then copy the URL and paste it into the setup text box and click apply then close out the set up and click Mail, some vrs of GP Browser have an extra feature of saving the cookie to a data base inside the GP Browser Directory to fully use it as a key for quick e-mail entry.
You can have as many e-mail accounts as you wish it is only saving the URL to the list that you can access at any time the added not pad will enable you to keep your full account information stored if the need arises.

Buddy List
GP Browsers Buddy list is only for always on connection Cable,DSL, etc, 56K users will have to change there IP Address in the early vrs we will have a fix soon. I am currently working on a web site for accounts any information you can give would be a plus.
Buddy list is not working in beta 2.0....

Using the Send Files System..
To send a file you must first get the IP# from your friend and then open the channel select the file the enter.
You must first decide who is going to be the Host and then go from there.

How To Chat
Open chat by click on the chat icon.
Click on connection a screen will flip out, put your IP# in the Connect To: Box and make your self a name. If you are hosting a chat click on host to begin the room. Now send all of your friends your IP# they will all connect to you only through GP Chat. A small vrs of the chat is found at gpinteractive.cjb.net click on gpinteractive. To chat you must first get the IP# from your friend his or her computer internet IP address,then 1 person hosts and everyone else connects to that host IP#, you give your IP# to everyone to connect to you using GP Browser. To connect to a host server GP server click the link (Enter GPs Home Town). If connection fails chances are that GP Interactive servers are being updated or are not online contact freecerver@aol.com for more information.

How to get your computer IP address( click start menu,programs,MS-DOS click, Open MS-DOS then type ipconfig)you will see Ethernet adapters then IP address this is your address the first line in the paragraph... Any questions please contact freecerver@aol.com.
Or Click Send File Go To Settings/Log Copy And Paste IP Address.
Advanced features are for administrators that run server rooms just for people connection. Each window or room is hosted on a 24/7 online computer running an NT server. Remember this is just for fun i am not in the frame for making a full application and competing with AOL ;>)
Other Information

If you are on AOL 5.0 or higher right click aol tray
icon click system information go to and click Network on tab.
Copy and paste IP address into chat IP#

Setting Home Page
By default GP Interactive has a start page for you.. If you want to change the page click Menu File tab go to property click then Home Start Tab. Change the URL to the site you would like to start at.

Running System
Developed for Windows 98 sec edition with to date services, IE 5.0 or better, 32 megs of RAM, 16 min, 800x600 resolution or higher, 300 MHz CPU or better, sound card, internet connection of 56k (DSL,CABLE,T1, etc. is best).
